COMMUNITY BUILDING:

• BMC is one of the few spaces for FLINTA+ and LGBTQIA+ people to network in a safer environment. Breaks between panels allow attendees to create lasting connections.

• We build every conference around attendees’ and participants’ feedback, ensuring it meets our community’s needs and interests.

PANELS

• The fifth edition of BMC will feature panels with leading artists and industry professionals. Previous panellists include JAGUAR, DJ Paulette, Silvia Montello, Sarah Story, Boiler Room, Southbank, Planningtorock and I. JORDAN.

• Topics will include FLINTA+ and LGBTQIA+ club promoters in the UK, wellbeing in music, and the current safety risks affecting women on tour.

MENTORSHIP HUB & DJ WORKSHOPS

• A range of experienced industry professionals, including booking agents and record label managers, will demystify aspects of the music industry via one-on-one sessions.

• DJ workshops in partnership with AlphaTheta will allow attendees to learn mixing tips and technical knowledge while connecting with others who are also learning to DJ.

NEW BOUDICA A&R DEMO HUB

• Boudica has consistently worked to challenge the imbalance in the music industry. Our A&R Hub will offer producers the chance to receive meaningful feedback and access industry opportunities that are so often difficult to find.
